Undergraduate Program

The Department of Landscape and Garden Design is a department that trains experts who plan and manage the environment and landscape.
The environment covered by the Faculty of Landscape and Garden Design includes from housing gardens to children's playgrounds, green parks and natural parks, entertainment and recreation spaces, urban spaces, regions and metropolitan spaces. The educational goal of the landscape department focuses on solving the problem of urbanizing the entire country and deepening environmental damage. Therefore, it is focusing on fostering future-oriented experts who can promote the comfort of human life and the preservation of the natural environment.
To achieve this educational goal, the landscape department provides various learning opportunities for nature and environment, human and behavioral psychology, artistic principles related to planning and design, computer-based expression techniques, and experience in actual design and construction. In general, in the lower grades, basic training on expression techniques is conducted along with learning about the general theory of landscaping, and in the upper grades, practical planning and design are practiced through studio learning.
